Surf Quietly is a suite of tools that lets you surf securely and protect your privacy online. This presentation is mirrored after CryptoParty and includes free handouts like Tor on a flash drive, CDs that boot you securely into Linux, and flash drives protected by TruCrypt. Not only will Tor be covered, a free Tor server will be given away.
Jerry Whiting’s day gig is Pres/CEO of Azalea Software but in his real life he’s a white hat hacktivist assisting the Tibetan community, #Occupy, the elders in the Black Party, and other social & political groups. He shares his tech experiences through teaching & lecturing at Seattle Mini Maker Faire, UW Experimental College, ToorCamp, #OccupySeattle IT, and elsewhere.
